Dearest Gerald,
It was a pleasure to join your family today to celebrate your life in Karl’s absence . Memories of summer soirées come to mind—most recently this year, enjoying Karl’s homemade pizza in the garden. I cherished hearing the story of the pint of Guinness graciously saved at our wedding back in 1993—a moment we both missed but now hold dear.
May your star shine brightly.
